  Oxy-Dry Anti-Offset Powder
Q:  My job offset (either fully or partially) and I was running my powder sprayer at the normal setting. What's going on?

A:  Check the sheet for powder application with a floodlight. Uneven powder spray patterns indicate a clogged sprayer or wind turbulence that could effect application.

Q:  Frequent blanket washing is required when I back up my work. Why is this?

A:  Try to use a smaller quantity of a larger micron size powder. The balance between too much and too little is important.

Q:  My powder is lumpy and is sticking in my spraying device. Is the powder bad?

A:  Powder storage is underrated. It should be stored in a sealed container (moisture tight) and should be kept off the floor where lower temperatures cause it to absorb moisture.

Q:  Why do I get bombing in my delivery? Is it a powder problem?

A:  Accumulation of excess powder in the delivery will occur. Regularly clean the various press parts which collect this excess, especially the spray head itself.

Q:  My powder is not sticking to the printed sheet. What can I do to get more powder to stick?

A:  Adjustment of the blow down bars and fans may be required. On critical jobs you may have to slow the press down. Make sure that electrostatic is functioning.
